Motorized FlexShade I/O DC

Motorized FlexShade I/O DC features a low-voltage motor, quiet performance, and flexible automation for scalable commercial shade control solutions.

The Motorized FlexShade I/O DC features a quiet, low-voltage motor with adjustable RPM and soft start/stop technology, delivering operation below 38 dBA. Its modular design supports scalable automation and flexible network control across a variety of commercial applications. Integration with Bond Bridge Pro provides app control and IP integration, streamlining the creation and management of custom scenes and schedules. Designed for efficient installation, the system uses standard CAT6 cables for both power and control, with runs up to 550 feet. Coupled shades reduce the number of required motors, minimizing complexity and cost.

  • CHILD SAFETY NOTICE: This product complies with ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022-Child Safety Standard and has been Certified Best for Kids™ by the Window Covering Safety Council.
  • Available in widths from 34-3/8" to 168" (87 cm to 427 cm), depending on fabric selection.
  • Right- or left-hand motor orientation configurable during programming.
  • Low-voltage connection with RJ45-compatible interface.
  • Supports wiring distances up to 700 ft from motor to power panel using special gauge (24AWG) CAT5e or CAT6 cable.

ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 Child Safety Standard

Effective June 1, 2024, in compliance with the updated ANSI/WCMA A100.1-2022 child safety standard, all Draper window shades operated by a bead chain will be furnished with a tensioned hold-down device that is permanently attached and partially disables the product if not installed correctly. This hold-down should be installed with tension on the chain.

All bead chain operated window shades will include:

  • Permanently installed spring-loaded tensioned hold-down device
  • Approved permanent warning label attached
  • Approved mechanical fasteners for the tension device included. Screws provided are not suitable for all mounting surfaces. The installer is responsible for secure mounting using appropriate hardware for the site conditions. Consult with contractors and builders as needed.

If the tension device is not installed with appropriate tension on the bead chain, the shade will be rendered partially inoperable. If installed properly, the tension device will prevent the creation of a hazardous loop and will maintain tension on the bead chain.
